Pre-Payment/Budget Plans

The past few years have taught everyone that no one can anticipate what the commodities market is capable of. For that reason, each year we are proud to offer our customers the opportunity to contract for their heating oil and/or propane expenses. We design both our pre-payment and budget plans to protect both against rising costs as well as offer the opportunity to take advantage of price decreases should you so desire. Pre Payment Plan

This plan allows customers to protect against increasing oil prices and lock in a price for the entire heating season. A fixed amount of gallons can be purchased at a set price and will be delivered to your home between September 1st, and April 30th. We will help you to determine approximately how much fuel you will use in the upcoming season and payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. Most customers who select this plan enjoy the peace of mind it delivers.

Downside Protection Option

This option allows customers to receive the regular retail price should it drop below their contracted price. Downside protection is sold on a cents per gallon basis and changes from year to year. This is an option that customers can purchase as insurance should the oil market decline.

Capped Budget Plan

This plan allows customers to limit the price per gallon they will pay for oil over the winter. From September 1st through April 30th oil will be delivered at a capped price and should the retail price be lower than the cap, customers will receive the lower of the two prices. We are able to offer our customers the benefit of the lower price, should prices fall, because there is a reasonable upfront fee to enroll in this program. This plan is one of our most popular as it protects against prices spikes as well as allows our customers to take advantage of market downturns. Calculating your annual usage, we spread your equal payments over 11 months beginning in August. Plan pricing is per gallon and capped for all deliveries between September 1st, and April 30th.

Basic Budget Plan

This budget plan allows customers to budget their heating expense with 11 equal monthly payments. The payment schedule is August through June. This plan does not provide a capped price, as all deliveries will be made at the current retail price and posted on your account as such. The basic budget plan is a popular way to spread your annual heating expense over 11 equal monthly payments and not lock in any fixed pricing.
